- What is Kicking Bear ??
- Kicking Bear is a FREE event!! It is a youth mentoring camp that is designed to get youth introduced to the outdoors. It a campout filled with outdoor activities including archery, fishing, craft projects, etc. Three meals will be provided at camp for all participants. Families are welcome!! Pre-register if possible.
- Who is at Kicking Bear??
- Kicking Bear was founded by well-known bowhunter, Ray Howell, and is hosted by local outdoorsmen and women. Mentors and volunteers are still needed. Contact Mike Lance at 319-931-1524 or Maria White at 319-385-1959 for more information.
- When is Kicking Bear??
- Friday and Saturday,September 14th -15th 2007
(*Sign in starts at 3:00 pm on the 14th -Camp is over at approximately 3:00pm on the 15th)
- The Safety Meeting will take place at approximately 9:00 AM on Saturday. It is MANDATORY that anyone participating in the 3-D shoot be present at the Safety Meeting. Anyone not present for this meeting WILL NOT be able to shoot the 3-D course.
