Gander Mountain Sponsors In-Store School Field Day

Eighty students from the La Crosse area (grades 5 through 8) will be participating in the first-ever In-Store School Field Day at the La Crosse Gander Mountain store on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Lunch will be provided.

The students will have the opportunity to learn about the outdoors through Gander Mountain.

There will be eight (8) different “learning stations” including paintball, archery, geocache with GPS, camping, fishing—casting—lure making, firearms/laser guns; orienteering, and duck call building.

Members of the local Sheriff’s Dept., and the DNR, along with world-renowned Bowhunter and Kicking Bear founder, Ray Howell, will be on hand to teach kids skills in the outdoors.
